Melissa Kardish

Melissa Kardish is in the Population Biology graduate group and works on the seagrass microbiome project  to examine questions of community assembly and interactions between microbes and hosts.  She has worked on global scale analyses, local field experiments, and manipulative lab experiments aimed at connecting microbiome composition and functioning.  She also has worked on the phylogeography of avian malaria as well as ant-fungal mutualisms in the past.  Right now she is too busy making amazing discoveries to work on this webpage.
